What will we be doing?
Activity 1: Jackson-Pollock Inspired
Inspired by Jackson Pollock’s Abstract Expressionism, ArtFlock has prepared an array of unconventional tools for children to manipulate as they paint a HUGE canvas collaboratively! They are free to dance, play around and go crazy as they use anything under the sun to apply paint and texture onto the canvas. They will also be bringing home a desired section (40cm x 50cm) of the Final Masterpiece!
Activity 2: Christmas Candy Jar
Using Polymer Clay, children will be manipulating clay modelling techniques to create various candies and sweet treats to decorate their very own novelty jar. They will be encouraged to explore their imagination and translate their ideas into the creation of the embellishments!
